ROOTING FOR SURVIVAL 

Many trees might look lifeless in winter, but they’re far from it! Join an ERNC naturalist for a walk through the woods and discover the adaptations that help Alaska’s native trees survive months of darkness, ice, and cold. Registration is limited to 20 participants.  

All ages guided hikes requiring registration include a $5 participation fee. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the program start time will be refunded, minus a $2 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable unless there are extenuating circumstances. Registration is free for ERNC members and children under the age of 5.
