Ever wondered if a trail is wide enough for a wheelchair or baby jogger, or level enough for a visiting grandparent? 

Alaska State Parks is adopting a new type of signage — Trail Access Information (TAI) — that shows how steep a trail is, how wide and how tilted it is, and the type of surface. These criteria, developed by the U.S. Access Board for people with accessibility issues, help all trail users decide if a trail provides what they’re looking for.
