Color Trek: Mixed Media in the Wild Workshop

COLOR TREK: MIXED MEDIA IN THE WILD WORKSHOP 
Join us for an immersive fall art experience at the Eagle River Nature Center. We’ll gather at the main building before heading into the field to create art inspired by the season. Guided by both an artist and a naturalist, you’ll learn how to assemble a portable mixed media kit you can take into nature anytime. 

We’ll explore color studies and ways to capture the mood of the landscape, rather than striving for exact replicas. You’ll also work on smaller studies inspired by the details and color around us; colorful leaves, bright berries, delicate lichen, and other autumn treasures. 

All materials are provided, and all experience levels are welcome. This workshop is best suited for ages 12 and up. Weather permitting, portions of the class will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
